A Bipolar blog

I was discussing this blog with my husband, telling him that it looks like 2 different blogs mixed together and that I probably need to split it to 2, when he scowled at me  “you will handle 2 blogs? You can’t even handle one!”

Pause…  Let’s see: I started sharing my life with you in January, following The scary world of 12’s incident. So far, 1000 of you are following my blog already. Does it mean that 1000 people think I can handle at least one blog? I sure hope so!

Thank you all again for taking the time to participate in my life by reading, commenting and sharing your own stories. It’s more than my husband does, and you don’t even know me. It’s like having 1000 people believe in me but they are far away, and one who doesn’t, but he is in my house! Let’s switch, I will have 1000 people in my house believing in me, and the one who doesn’t will be far away. Just a thought ;-).

About this blog: I am not sure it makes a lot of sense to jump from cutting to crafting. There are many days when I am very troubled about life being so stressful and painful for kids sometimes.  After I post about it, I need to remind myself that there is also a lot of good and happiness going around, and I start looking for nice things. Than you get a crafty post. No wonder I started taking anti anxiety pills lately…well that’s for another post.

I guess this bipolar disorder will not continue forever .

And no, I don’t look like this blond in the photo, thanks for asking. Wish I did though!

  3. I know lot’s of people understand what bipolar is which no clue for me! I start to read bipolar through blog! Now I start looking what is all about. Ur blog remind still when I woke up this morning so I came back to read. I only know one thing…

“Beautiful mind should speak, silent is needed but none when U need it” So do what U love and love what U do, I believe the old saying. Good luck lovely mind I’ll come back to read more…again 🙂

  5. You don’t have to be blond to be beautiful. I love your sincerity.

  6. I’m sooooo glad I found your blog! It’s been the best thing I’ve read in a while. And to think, I’ve never heard of wash tape. wow!

  7. You know what? I think you could handle as many blogs as you wanted. Men are so encouraging. 🙂 lol

LOVE your writing style – I’ve enjoyed reading your blog this morning!

  8. I started one blog a year and a half ago. And then another one in January of this year. I also found that I can have different pages on my blog, along with subblogs. You could have a separate page regarding your crafts, or a subblog.

  9. Thanks to you for liking my blog – all about wellness solutions. You are doing an awesome job. I was a mom of 3, with 1 dog, 2 cats, a bird a fish a full time job and a husband who worked away a lot.. You seem to be a awesome Mom – You can handle as many blogs as you choose. Your husband just doesn’t want you to become overwhelmed. Find the joy in everything – the memories created today are the family stories of tomorrow that just keep giving on the laughter and joy scale. Some of the worst things that happened we now find laughter in. Our son almost died from a head injury because he and friends were racing their bikes down new pavement. Very scary few days until he came out of the coma and we knew he would live. He went from a low average student pre-accident to an honor student is more than half his courses. Now we look back at one of the most stressful times we experienced, laugh and are thankful. The universe did smarten him up by giving him a big knock upside the head. One saying that has helped immensely in the really good times as well as the not so good is ….AND THIS TOO WILL PASS and it always does. I remember wishing some of those very crazy days away when I was washing the floor at midnight because I’d finally got to it. You will survive and so will your kids as long as you guys have as much fun as possible along the way. Life is the experience of living not of being perfect. So have those snowball and water fights and involve your kids friends. I found that by having a lot of fun my kids, their friends wanted to hang at our house. So I knew what they were up to and with who. As they get older that takes a lot of the stress away. Today, my kids are adults and I get the joy of still being involved in their lives unlike a lot of other parents and grandparents. Keep sharing everything you do through your blogging, whether it is one blog or ten as long as it brings something to your life. You are touching some one else for the better with every post.

  10. I wrote my tagline in a way that I could expand if need be. I consider it a clause for my failing health that I write about! You have it in your title–“And Stuff.” There you go…

  11. I can see why you have so many followers in such a short amount of time. I was instantly drawn in and clicked “follow” after the first section I read. Very easy reading.

  12. I love this. You’re doing an incredible job.

  13. Joel

I think bloggers who aren’t afraid to be vulnerable do very well because their readers become part of the process. Good job!

  14. This one made my laugh! And you are right; with all the crapola going on in the world, we have to continue to focus on the good stuff ( :

  15. I feel the same way!

I blogged a little snip about this too:

I don’t understand how to have a “themed” blog. How can you only write about one thing– be it food, fashion, depression, religion … don’t you eventually just want to write about what you thought while you were walking down the sidewalk today? For this reason, I will probably never have a million snappy followers and cutesy give-aways on my blog. I’m not very hip– and I’m not sure how to be hip without squishing my voice.

  16. I am glad to hear that I am not the only person who loves to write about all different topics in her blog. In fact, I was going to blog about that and call it ” me, the un-niche-able’. However, I do separate all of my domestic violence articles into a separate blog because I found that when people were searching for domestic violence help or answers to their questions on that topic; they didn’t want to have to sift through a lot of other things to find the comfort they needed in that moment. So, I have one blog about me being me, where I’m just all over the place. Then, I have a domestic violence awareness blog. Congratulations you’re doing a beautiful job! Now, about that comment your husband made well . . . well, you already know, don’t you? 🙂 PEACE-

  17. I wish I looked like the blonde in the photo too. Thanks for stopping by my blog and liking my posts. Let me know how it works out if you trade your 1 husband for 1000 in house supporters. 🙂
